In the mid-1990s, the 32-bit game console "Sega Saturn" competed with many rival hardware in the next-generation game console war. Wave Master Co., Ltd. will release the CD "BURNING RANGERS - SEGASATURN 30th Anniv. Album -" as the third installment of the "Sega Saturn 30th Anniversary Album" on Friday, November 22, 2024, the 30th anniversary of the "Sega Saturn".
The album consists of two CDs. Disc 1 contains all the music from the action game "Burning Rangers" released in February 1998. The familiar theme song "Burning Hearts -Honoo no ANGEL-" as well as the insert song "We Are Burning Rangers" and the ending song "I Just Smile" are all recorded with the latest mastering. In addition to the English version with English vocals for overseas audiences, the album starts with the Sega Saturn startup sound and Sonic Team sound logo, giving you a total of 27 tracks that will instantly immerse you in that time!
Disc-2 is titled Special Bonus Track and includes Kenji Mizuno's "I Just Smile -2024 Remix- /Pamela Driggs", "I Just Smile -2024 Duet Remix- / Tomoko Sasaki & Takenobu Mitsuyoshi", "Angels With Burning Hearts" by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, and the unique duet "Burning Hearts ~Flame Angel~ -Duet Ver. 2024-" by Popona & Takenobu Mitsuyoshi. In addition, the demo sound source for the phantom debut PV "Burning Hearts ~Flame Angel~ -Demo Ver.-" which was very popular among fans is included for the first time, and it is made up of a total of 11 tracks including various rare and karaoke sound sources.
The well-read booklet also features comments from sound staff members such as Hataya Takashi, Mitsuyoshi Takenobu, Seto Marumasa, and Mizuno Kenji, as well as director Oshima Naoto (currently CEO and President of Arzest Co., Ltd.), lyricist and vocalist Sasaki Tomoko, and English lyricist Hasegawa Ryoichi!
