Super Tetris 2 + bombliss - Nintendo Sfc Super Famicom

Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss is a Japanese-exclusive puzzle game developed by TOSE and published by Bullet-Proof Software. Despite the name, the game is not a version of Tetris 2. Instead, it is normal Tetris combined with the game Bombliss, and is a port of the Famicom version by Chunsoft.

Tetris has three modes. Type-A and Type-B are identical to those found in Tetris (NES); marathon and clearing twenty-five lines ranging from heights 0 to 5 respectively. Type-C is similar to Type-A, but garbage blocks fill the bottom of the well every few times a tetromino is placed on the playing field.

Bombliss uses both tetrominos and its own pieces. Most of the pieces are blue, but some are red, which are bombs. The idea is to clear the board completely of pieces. This can be done by combining four red pieces to form a bigger bomb, which has a bigger blast. Making lines won't clear the space, but will strengthen the bomb blast as well.

The game later received a release with the subtitle Gentei Ban (Limited Edition) which featured improved gameplay, graphics, and audio.
